The SMART Group welcomes renowned physicist

The SMART Group recently invited renowned physicist Mike Murphy to their headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire, to review its latest range of SMARTDiode lasers.
Like The SMART Group, Mike is also a member of the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA), a respected Laser Protection Advisor, and a renowned educator on all things laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). During his visit to the company's HQ, Mike shared his vast knowledge and theory in all aspects of laser technology with their Education, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
Following a thorough review of both the technology being used within the SMARTDiode lasers as well as the business' operational processes and procedures, Mike was left suitably impressed in both areas.
In response to the visit, the leadership team of The SMART Group has pledged that as part of the continuous development of its customer support programmes, they will continue working closely with Mike to help expand the knowledge base of their growing client base across the UK. This will also include attending Mike's renowned training sessions with access to the technical and theoretical aspects of laser through his manuals.
Speaking about the positive impact of Mike's visit, Director Ian Hallam, commented: “Welcoming Mike along with his knowledge was a great experience for the whole team at SMART. Getting his viewpoints on many aspects of laser and its delivery added confidence to the whole team. Working closely with an industry expert going forward will benefit our customers and our commitment to increasing standards, results, and client care. We all look forward to developing a strong working relationship between the two parties.”
Mike Murphy added: “I enjoyed my time with teams at The SMART Group and getting the opportunity to understand and evaluate their equipment both from a technical and operational aspect. I was further impressed with the high standards obtained in both the manufacture and technical quality of the equipment and the company's commitment to supporting its range of lasers. We have a shared passion for increasing knowledge and understanding within our industry and I look forward to expanding our relationship in the pursuit of developing our industry's knowledge, specifically in safe and effective laser operation.”
