Spa company aims to improve workplace wellbeing, one of the UK's leading spa booking agencies, has launched a new internal incentive which offers its staff a range of benefits designed to help improve both physical and mental health.

‘Spabreakers, A Path to Wellness' has been devised by founder, Abi Wright, following her own issues with health. The new campaign offers the company's entire workforce an optional range of wellness techniques to be enjoyed before, after and during work time.

Amongst the health benefits being offered include weekly 10-minute chair massage and twice weekly 30-minute yoga practice, as well as mindfulness sessions, employee fitness classes and healthy snacks in the office.

“It seemed ridiculous that I was working in and industry that supported health and wellbeing but not paying proper attention to my own or that of my team,” Abi explains. “We all work long, hard hours and I've always believed in trying to create the best possible work/life balance and that is how the idea came about.”

Abi adds: “At present these are all internal benefits, but I hope to develop the whole concept further in future so that we can bring ‘Path to Wellness' to any business. We are hoping to create a corporate bookable package to bring massage specialists into the workplace where employees can enjoy treatments at their desk or during their lunch hour. Bringing the wellness industry to the corporate market is something we will be focusing on throughout 2019.”
