Revolution Beauty launches new platform to turbocharge bookings for self-employed beauty professionals

Revolution Beauty, the global multi-brand, multi-category beauty company, has launched a state-of-the-art beauty booking platform that is set to transform the way freelance beauty professionals manage their clients and market their talents.

My Revolution has been designed to help self-employed beauty professionals acquire new clients and open up new revenue streams. It allows freelancers to be discovered by potential clients, while also centrally managing bookings on the platform, in a similar way to salon booking services.

Co-founded by make-up artist turned entrepreneur, Nicola Gunby, and entrepreneur, Jason Iliffe, My Revolution is available to all kinds of freelance beauty professionals, including accredited make-up artists, hairstylists, and beauty therapists.

Nicola and Jason previously founded AMB Beauty, an on-demand beauty marketplace. AMB Beauty was acquired by Revolution Beauty to create the My Revolution platform, which has brand new features for freelance professionals including an easy-to-download app.

As a part of My Revolution, beauty professionals get exclusive access to new product launches and the chance to feature on Revolution's social channels with the resulting content they create.

The app is now available for professionals to download and sign up for. This will allow them to start using the features, book in their current clients, and start to gain new bookings through the marketplace.

Available on iOS and Android, there are two options for beauty professionals:

• Premium subscription for £15 per month: This provides professionals with access to the My Revolution app which will allow them to manage all their bookings in one place. The app will also give professionals access to marketing tools, insurance providers and be a part of the global Revolution community which means access to products as well as a 20% discount on Revolutionbeauty.com. My Revolution will take a small commission fee of 3.4% per booking. My Revolution's premium subscription will be free for a limited time only.
• Subscription free: This free version of the app provides professionals with the same features but with a 20% commission per booking. This option is for professionals just starting out who may not have a full diary but are keen to gain more clients and grow their business.
