New luxury spa destination opens in Derbyshire

Derbyshire's contemporary new Spa at Breedon Priory officially opens this summer following the completion of its Tranquillity Gardens and exclusive private ‘Hideaway' spa.
The spacious luxury location in Wilson, near Melbourne in Derbyshire, draws inspiration from its surrounding countryside to create an atmosphere of wellness. The building has been constructed with sustainability and the environment as one of its core principles and is particularly mindful when it comes to water, having its own water source.
Guests can enjoy the spa's Tranquility Gardens, which blend into the landscape, providing a sanctuary to relax in throughout the year. Features include a large Vitality pool and Infinity Relaxation pool, as well as an outdoor terrace with loungers and fire pit seated areas.
Recognising that some people prefer a little more privacy, the Spa has also created 'The Hideaway,' an intimate area for two or a private spa for a group of four. The space offers exclusive treatments, a private lounge area, shower area, mini bar, and a secluded enclosed terrace with a hot tub, fire pit, and luxurious lounger for two.

Other features in the main spa include a Pure Relaxation room, Slumber Lounge, and a relaxation room to enjoy post-treatment tranquility. In addition, the Wellbeing Suite comprises six thermal experiences: experience showers, an ice fountain, and cabins offering different strength heats.
Furthermore, there are seven state-of-the-art treatment rooms including one dual room where guests can enjoy face, body, and manicure/pedicure treatments from British brands Temple Spa, Tribe517, Pinks Boutique, and Proverb.
Announcing the official opening of The Spa at Breedon Priory, on behalf of their family, owner Graham Blunt says: “We are extremely proud to be fully opening our beautiful new space and giving our guests a personalised service that strives to meet their every need. Every detail offers our guests somewhere to do nothing other than focus on themselves, family, and friends; enjoy self-care treatments, or indulge in a tailored, private treatment session that is not only a break from their usual routine but also beneficial to their mental wellbeing.”
