New categories announced for leading make-up awards

The National Make-Up Awards are set to return on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May 2020 as part of the annual Beauty UK show, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham.

Both professional and student MUAs are invited to enter the awards, which are supported by Habia and the National Association of Screen Make-up Artists and Hairdressers (NASMAH).

Over the years, the competition has seen an array of talented artists produce impressive looks, with competitors able to choose from a number of different themes and directions including; bridal, cut crease, festival, red carpet, simulation, bodypainting and fantasy.

Plus, the awards are not just open to professional and student MUAs, but hairdressers and lash/brow artists too. For 2020, new photographic and fixed exhibit categories for wigs and lashes are being introduced.
