Lichfield salon celebrates 35 years in business with Random Acts of Kindness

A hair and beauty salon in the Midlands recently celebrated its 35th anniversary by giving back to the clients who have supported them over the years through a Random Acts of Kindness campaign.

Hair and beauty expert Karen Wharton founded Obsession Salon & Spa in 1987. Today, the company operates two salons and spas in Lichfield and Branston Golf & Country Club, which provide a range of luxurious hair and beauty services.

During the salon's Random Acts of Kindness campaign, which ran in October and November, a lucky Instagram follower was selected each over 35 days to receive a complimentary service. Additionally, clients were able to take advantage of special salon promotions and guests who visited either salon location during the campaign received a golden balloon, which contained a chance to win complimentary treats ranging from Kerastase rituals or L'Oreal products.

Founder, Karen Wharton, says: ‘It's time for us to say thank you to all of our lovely guests who have supported us through the years by distributing random gifts through our two salons in Lichfield and Branston as well as across our Instagram platform. We wouldn't be where we are today without their loyalty and this is our way of acknowledging that.”

Karen adds: “I can't think of a better place to have started my business than Lichfield. The people are really friendly and I love that my business can give something back to the local community, particularly after the tough few years we have all been through.
