Comfort Zone unveils its new sustainable UK office space

Professional spa and wellness brand, [ comfort zone ] skincare has officially opened the doors to its eco-conscious office in the heart of Kings Cross, central London.

The 4,600 sq. ft. space, which now houses the UK [comfort zone] team, was designed and brought to life by interior designer Melody Weir, who also launched the design for the Brooklyn, New York office earlier in 2022.

Located close to London's bustling Coals Yard Drop, the building boasts a stylish modern architectural design. Constructed with recycled, repurposed, and sustainably sourced materials, the space compliments the brand's sustainability ethos throughout.

Structural elements such as the timber used are made from recyclable materials, while the cushion covers are made from reused plastic bottles and curtains from sustainably sourced fabrics. An intelligent daylighting system has also been installed which automatically adjusts light levels based on the external conditions, promoting each employee's wellbeing.

With over 30,000 individual plants across the site, from several hundred different species, the space "brings to life the brand's DNA; conscious skin science providing science-backed, regenerative results for both skin and planet." A living plant wall has been carefully crafted that is made up of a mixture of monsteras, pothos, philodendrons, prayer plans, and assorted asplenium ferns.

Global General Manager for [ comfort zone ], Arnaud Goullin, comments: “[ comfort zone ] is built on a community of people that are incredibly passionate about what they do, so we are incredibly excited to be launching the new London hub which will serve as a collaborative and creative space that unifies our people and partners.”

UK Country Manager, Tracy Brasenell, added: “We are delighted to launch our new home in the UK, a place to welcome our [ comfort zone ] community, provide education, and share and inspire through our brand vision and values.”
