Wellness architecture for Greek spa
A Greek hotel resort set to open this May has incorporated an eco-friendly roof into its design.
Gennadi Grand Resort, Rhodes, will feature a sloped, sustainable green roof as a nod to the growing trend of ‘wellness architecture', which aims to provide spaces that are structurally beautiful, functional and eco-friendly.
The roof will incorporate the aim of bringing the ‘outside in', blending in with the natural elements of the landscape, minimising sunlight reflection and improving the overall microclimate.
Under the roof, the hotel's spa will provide holistic rejuvenation, with a wide range of signature rituals, facials and body treatments aiming to relieve stress and promote inner balance and harmony.
