For 2018 The Look Awards have collaborated with the Scottish Hair and Beauty Show 2018 which will be held on Sunday 22nd April and Monday 23rd April 2018 at the SEC, Glasgow.
As part of this collaboration, the hair categories will be judged at a live styling event on Sunday 22nd April as part of the event, on our very own Look Awards stage.
In addition, the collaboration will mean that The Great British Barbering Academy will sponsor the “Best Barber Award” which will be judged at The Scottish Hair and Beauty Show, and presented by Mike Taylor on the evening of the Look Awards. Those shortlisted in the Best Barber category will be invited to the live judging day on Sunday 22nd April and invited to attend the Look Awards 2018 in the evening, when the winner will be announced. The competition for the Best Barber Award will be judged as part of The Great British Barbering Academy's annual competition.
Salons, clinics and spas will be invited to enter in January, with a panel of industry judges selecting the winners from those nominated in each category. The Award winners will then be announced on the evening of Sunday 22nd April at the SEC Glasgow, following the Scottish Hair & Beauty show.
