Susan Gerrard, founder of Gerrard International and the individual responsible for bringing Jessica Natural Nail Care to the UK in the 1990s, is set to launch her own academy.
Upholding her commitment to excellence in education, the Susan Gerrard Beauty Academy aims to deliver real-world learning and consummate delegate support. With the flexibility to study around work or family, courses will be held at the company's purpose-built facility in Borehamwood where students can learn using leading professional brands, including Jessica Natural Nail Care, Mii Cosmetics and BeautyLab Skincare.
“From specialist nail care to complete beauty therapy, our VTCT recognised and certified qualifications will open the door to a beautiful future,” Susan tells us. “As the industry is constantly evolving, so too is our syllabus, keeping our students up to date with the latest trends and most relevant skills.
“Actively involved in our industry, our educators know exactly what top employers are looking for in beauty graduates. Our students have exclusive opportunities to demonstrate their skills through work experience at inspiring spas and salons, and as part of our backstage session teams for photoshoots and events like London Fashion Week.”
Susan adds: “We're proud to have been a part of our industry's past, and excited to be shaping its future with the next generation of beauty experts.”
VTCT recognised qualifications and personal interest short courses will be available from April.
