St Moriz relaunches safe tanning campaign

St Moriz
has once again partnered with skin cancer hospitals in a bid to promote safe tanning.

As part of Sun Awareness Week, the tanning brand is providing support and guidance on the skin cancer ward of St Helen's hospital to patients, friends, family and staff for the third consecutive year, offering advice on self-tanning products as a safe alternative to unprotected sunbathing.

For 2019, St Moriz is taking its ‘Tan Safely with St Moriz' initiative further afield with the introduction of a new partnership at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, as well as launching its first ever product containing SPF30, Tan & Protect. The gradual tan will help clients to develop healthy, sunkissed skin without sun damage, with a hydrating, soft formula that offers protection against UVA and UVB rays.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with St Helen's Hospital as well as extend into additional hospitals this year,” comments Fiona Lazenby, commercial director at St Moriz. “We are eager to promote self-tanning as safe tanning, educating people on how sunless tanning sprays and lotions can make your skin look tanned without exposing it to the sun's harmful ultraviolet radiation.”
