Scottish beauty students scoop award wins

A Scottish-based college has been celebrating after winning a number of awards at the recent Association of Hairdressers and Therapists (AHT) finals, held in Blackpool.

Hairdressing and fashion make-up students from Borders College were entered into six categories at the event and came away with prizes in each one.

The higher education institute is a partner college of aromatherapy skin care brand, Eve Taylor. Speaking of the achievements, Eve Taylor OBE says: “It's fantastic to see that this college has developed so much talent from its students and achieved so much against stiff competition. As a partnership, we try to encourage as many colleges and students as possible to compete at such events, as this helps the whole industry to produce industry leaders for the future.”
