Kohler Waters Spa, at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, is set to reopen this year following an extensive multi-million refurbishment.
Opening up to the public for the first time, it will offer guests a luxury spa retreat in the heart of Scotland, with a focus on the healing properties of hydrotherapy.
The renovation will see the 25,000 sq.ft spa separated into two distinct areas; one dedicated to the guests' spa journey, and the other to leisure and fitness.
As well as 13 treatment rooms, steam room and rooftop garden, the spa has incorporated the notion of ‘health through water' into its facilities, boasting a hydrotherapy pool, plunge pool and Ice Fountain.
Guests will receive a personalised treatment programme as part of the ‘custom time' menu, which will incorporate a range of natural, marine-based ingredients and luxurious rituals.
