New spa trains in cancer therapy

A team of therapists at Cheshire's new luxury spa, The Spa at Carden, have completed cancer therapy training in preparation for the location's upcoming opening.

Organic cancer therapy training provider, Made for Life Organics, provided therapists with the knowledge to recognise body changes, levels of touch and adaption to ensure full competency when working with guests affected by cancer.

Three members of Cheshire-based cancer support charity, Shine Bright, were then invited to experience the spa's treatments while giving the therapists a personal training experience.

Spa director Steve Ewing comments: “We want our guests to come to us to relax and unwind at a time of need, so it is important that our expert therapist team can cater to the specific needs of each guest. Our Made for Life Organics training has enabled us to ensure that our treatments are safe and relaxing for all of our clients. It was wonderful to have Shine Bright provide us with first-hand feedback and we look forward to a continued partnership with them.”
