Nail brand reaches business milestone

More than 200 salons across the UK are now officially using UV hybrid nail polish brand, Semilac, the company has revealed.
Originating in Poland where it has nearly three quarters of the market share, Semilac combines gel, nail polish and UV technology. The brand launched in the UK in 2016 and had reached 120 salons by the beginning of this year. For January 2018, they are aiming to be in 300 salons.

“Word is spreading fast that Semilac is the best on the market, especially when it comes to durability, colour range, personal service and fast delivery of stock,” comments Monika Shine, Semilac UK CEO. “It's becoming so popular that we are working on franchise model options so that managers can sell our products in Semilac branded salons.”

Semilac manicures are now available at salons in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and right across England, with a good concentration in the Midlands.

Jackie Burke, who owns Nailworks in Coventry (salon pictured), took on the brand due to the huge range of modern and seasonal colours offered. “The durability is very popular with our clients, and the six nail technicians in my salon all love the easy brush application and how well Semilac cures on the nail,” she told us.
