NEW LAUNCH: Lynton PlumeSafe Turbo Smoke Evacuator
Lynton have launched PlumeSafe Turbo; a new portable surgical smoke evacuator designed with sufficient flow for the aesthetic market.
The brand has added the product to its equipment portfolio to further support aesthetic practitioners and clinics during the challenging post-COVID-19 period.
They explain that the certified medical device, which is used regularly in NHS laser surgery, helps to reduce aerosol and plume generated during laser procedures.
“Whilst it's not yet known if laser plume could transmit the coronavirus, The British Medical Laser Association state that high efficiency smoke evacuation systems should be used to reduce plume generated during laser treatments,” say the experts at Lynton.
Compact yet powerful, the PlumeSafe Turbo can easily be placed on a counter, shelf, floor or other locations convenient to the operative area. It features 10 adjustable suction settings, as well as turbo mode, an interactive LCD display and filter tracking technology.
“The PlumeSafeTurbo reduces aerosol and plume generated during laser procedures, but should be considered as an adjunct to general hygiene including hand washing, PPE and adequate ventilation systems,” the brand further advise.
