MUAs honoured at Official Make-Up Awards 2019


Talented make-up professionals and businesses from across the UK gathered this May to celebrate their achievements at The Official Make-Up Awards 2019.

Now in its second year, the glamorous event took place at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, hosted by Tabitha Hunter-Smale, who presented a total of 14 awards on the night.

All winners were chosen by members of the British public and recognised for their talent, creativity and customer service. Several of the awards were split into regions to ensure the diverse establishments from across the country were recognised for their exceptional work.

This year's honourees included Joanne Coleman (Surrey), ‘Celebrity Make Up Artist of the Year' (pictured); Christina Bassnett (Merseyside), ‘Ethnic Make Up Specialist of the Year'; Karina's Makeup Studio (Swinton), ‘Make Up Salon of the Year Overall Winner' and GlamCandy (Edinburgh), ‘Training Academy of the Year Overall Winner'.
