In May, HairUK welcomed hair and barbering professionals from across the UK to discover the latest cutting, styling and colouring techniques and products, plus find a wide range of educational opportunities to develop their careers.

This year's event, once again held at the NEC Birmingham, was reenergised with the addition of the BarberUK show to the exhibition.

"The event was excellent," said Emma McKenna of Interserve Learning & Employment. "The Sunday was a lot of salon owners, with Monday a good day for us as there were a lot of students coming through."

Joanne James of Forever Living Products agreed: "I feel this year was the best yet and would definitely recommend this show to both stand holders and professionals in the hair industry."

"HairUK 2015 was by far one of the busiest shows," commented Yasir Choudhry of YNR Instruments. "This year was full of wholesalers and we had a number of enquiries for bulk order to products. The addition of BarberUK was brilliant and it brought more customers. We were impressed."

"We would like to thank everyone who came to visit the confiDense stand, we met a lot of great people. It was a fantastic turnout and we look forward to the next time we can exhibit," added Amrish Rajput of confiDense.

"It's great to be out there in the Midlands marketplace at a show with a great variety of visitors. HairUK was a really busy show for us and we sold a wide variety of our different products, which is very encouraging," said exhibitor Melissa Dickinson of Salonfoils International.

The HairUK Style Stage saw presentations from exhibitors including Hair Rehab London and Scissorhands UK on the Sunday, with The Collective taking over the stage on Monday showcasing a range of hair and barbering techniques to visitors.

"HairUK 2015 was the first trade show that we exhibited at as a company and we weren't sure what to expect from it," said first time exhibitor Lauren Pope of Hair Rehab London, who also hosted a demonstration on the Style Stage. "However, it definitely exceeded all of our expectations! It was busier that we ever could have imagined and as a new business it's been essential in helping to build our brand and become recognised by the industry."

HairUK returns alongside BarberUK on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd May 2016.
