Exhibition celebrates CND’s 40th anniversary
In recognition of its ruby anniversary, CND has unveiled its ‘Tiny Canvases: The Art of Nails Exhibition' at the Oceanside Museum of Art.
Celebrating four decades of product breakthroughs and innovations, the showcase takes visitors on an exciting journey, charting the brand's humble beginnings in a California garage to one of the biggest names in the nail industry.
The exhibition's History Room focuses on research and development, revealing the story behind some of CND's biggest launches including SolarOil, the Retention+ system and CND Shellac.
Over 20,000 Tiny Canvases are also available to view, with the miniature artworks created by a roster of talented CND artists. Meanwhile, visitors can get ahead of upcoming trends and see the impressive Blonds Original Couture Ruby Red Corset in person.
Originally created for the designer's AW18 New York Fashion Week Show, the piece was created using CND Shellac Wildfire applied to tips and adorned with thousands of Swarovski crystals, which were all hand placed.
