CND rocks out with the KuKu Girls at Download

The KuKu Hair and Beauty girls were backstage at Download Festival this year to sprinkle some rock star magic on the nails of performers and VIPs.

Kooky and cute, with a 1950s vibe, the KuKu girls provided perfectly polished and primed nails on an otherwise wet and messy weekend.

For the second consecutive year, the team partnered with Sweet Squared who supplied an array of CND products for use at the event, such as CND Shellac polishes, lamps and glitters.

Lead base player from Eagles of Death Metal, Jennie Vee, opted for CND Black Pool with Lecenté's new Clearly Oil Slick Foil over the top, creating the ultimate rock chick nails for her to strum away on her guitar. Meanwhile, Halestorm's drummer and backing vocalist Arejay Hale got into the nail hype himself, offering his colour picking services for a customer who was spoilt for choice.

It wasn't just the performers and VIPs who got a mega mani, with the girls themselves making sure their nails were on-theme, with Ali McCassey slaying the Slayer theme. Get the look with CND Black Pool, Wildfire, Cream Puff and Unlocked and add a little Lecenté glitter in Pewter for true rock ‘n' roll glamour.
