British Beauty Council announces British Beauty Week 2022

The British Beauty Council is calling on beauty businesses to join it in celebrating the "power of beauty” for its annual British Beauty Week.
During the five-day event, which takes place from 5-11 September, the Council is encouraging brands, retailers, salons, charities, and e-commerce platforms of all sizes to create engaging initiatives to demonstrate the value of beauty to the public, business leaders, and policymakers.
Successful applicants will have access to British Beauty Week assets and social media promotion. Participation in the campaign is free, and the application form can be found here or email bbw@britishbeautycouncil.com.
Millie Kendall, CEO, of the British Beauty Council, comments: "The beauty industry has the ability to change lives and transform Britain's economic and social fabric. We want everyone to celebrate that fact. Whether it's workshops, giveaways, offers and talks, all week or day events – we want the British Beauty Week logo to be seen in windows and on websites across the breadth and depth of the UK to galvanise both the industry and shoppers alike.”
"Many people have in the past underestimated the power of beauty," Mille adds. "But if the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that our industry is at the heart of every community. It brings people together, it boosts confidence and wellbeing, and it provides an enormous contribution to the UK's GDP. This is all something to celebrate.”
