Boutique spa and health club opens

A boutique spa and health club in Edinburgh has opened its doors.

The Spa at The Principal forms part of The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square, and completes the hotel's multi-million pound restoration and refurbishment.

With a menu of carefully curated activities and therapies, the spa is the first in Scotland to offer OKSIA organic treatments, and also showcases a range of ishga treatments and products, which harness the healing and anti-ageing properties of Scottish seaweed.

In addition, the location features a mood lit 12m pool, a thermal area and three treatment rooms, all of which bring an elevated experience of health, fitness and wellbeing to guests.

“The new Spa at the Principal is the final piece of the jigsaw and marks the completion of our beautiful new hotel,” says Johan Scheepers, General Manager. “We're excited to see everything come together, and believe that the Spa has something different to offer, both for hotel guests and for Edinburgh locals.”
