Beauty business treats its therapists to ‘fee-free’ day

Skinbase has rewarded its therapists with complimentary microdermabrasion, IPL and radio frequency treatments at no extra cost to salon owners.

Leading microdermabrasion facial provider, SkinBase, has treated almost 2,000 beauty business owners across the country to a ‘fee-free' day.

Since its launch last year, the promotion has proved to be hugely popular amongst salon owners and therapists, but the family-owned beauty business completely surpassed its previous figures by delivering over £300,000 worth of free treatments in just 24 hours.

That number was up 42% on 2018's figures, with an average of four treatments being recorded every minute and the last of nearly 6,000 facials taking place at 11:56pm.

The brand's microdermabrasion facial proved to be the most popular treatment of the day, with a total of 5,860 treatments being recorded.

Leesa Keyes launched SkinBase with her brother, Richard Faulkner, from her mother's kitchen table and the company is now in its fourteenth year of operation. The sibling duo provide PAYG (pay as you go) equipment to almost 2,000 accredited salons and spas across the UK and Ireland.

“Our complimentary treatment days always prove to be extremely popular amongst our client-base, so we're thrilled to have exceeded our previous figures," Lisa comments. "The 'fee-free' days are all about showcasing our full range of products to new and existing clients whilst thanking therapists for representing our brand across their salons."

Lisa adds: "We're so pleased that word has spread since our last free day and that the uptake was bigger than it's ever been. We received some amazing feedback from our clients with their customers choosing to book in a full course of treatments due to their instant results!

"We're hoping to run a free treatment day again this year, so we'd urge therapists and customers to keep checking our website for the latest promotions and offers.”
